Wicker Park

While the roots of Wicker Park date back to 1837, much of the area was originally developed around the 1870s by a pair of brothers who shared an affinity for urban development. The Wicker brothers reserved a four-acre piece of land to be used as park space for the residents of the area to enjoy and it was later named after them in their honor. This small quadrant of neighborhoods surrounding the park soon became known after this charming little park in the heart of the community.

Wicker Park is largely a mixed-use community with a great diversity of real estate. Whether you're in the market for a detached single-family home, trendy loft, affordable condo, or redeveloped townhome, you can find it all in these listings of Wicker Park homes for sale.

Luxury Wicker Park Homes For Sale

There's something for every buyer in the selection of Wicker Park homes for sale. Similar to Bucktown and Near West Side, there's been a great deal of redevelopment in this area over the past decade, which has brought and influx of beautiful new homes. These new spaces boast stunning architecture with today's hottest interiors, while still embracing the historic roots of the area.

Lots in Wicker Park tend to be long and narrow, as is the case with many of Chicago's historic neighborhoods. Newly developed homes use this great length to their advantage and capitalize on the space with open-concept floorplans, high ceilings, and several large windows to illuminate the spaces naturally, as much as possible. Bright, open, and clean, are just some of the best ways to describe these modern spaces. While many of the homes may not have been completely redeveloped, it doesn't mean that they're anything short of breathtaking on the inside. Many of these listings will include beautifully renovated interiors that include everything you're looking for in a stylish new home. From modern studios to industrial lofts and clean condo suites, there is no shortage of enticing and reasonably priced homes for sale in Wicker Park.

If you're looking for unsurpassed convenience, you'll find that there are a number of spacious multi-floor duplexes situated atop of businesses in a mixed-use neighborhood. Their great location means that everything you need is only a short walk away, and they offer the same maintenance-free perks as a condo without having to compromise on space.
